Harbour was launched in 2017 by Paul Hammersley, one of the ad industry’s most renowned execs, with a peerless track record on both sides of the Atlantic.

Paul spent his early career at Saatchi & Saatchi London, rising from graduate trainee to the management team.

He was general manager of Lowe New York for four years, running the Coca-Cola business. He then returned to the agency’s London office, becoming MD and subsequently CEO of Lowe Howard-Spink, overseeing its evolution into Lowe Lintas. The agency won many plaudits and was recognised by Campaign magazine as its Agency of the Year in 2000.

After another stint in the US running Lowe New York, he became chairman and chief executive of DDB London between 2004 and 2005. He co-founded The Red Brick Road in 2006.

Paul joined EDC in 2013 and was named the first UK chief executive of the Samsung-backed Cheil UK in 2015. Having built up the agency’s UK offering, overseeing the integration of BMB, he resigned in October 2016 to begin work on a revolutionary new idea – Harbour, an independent agency collective fit for the marketing services challenges of the 21st Century.
